The 2020 Hyundai Accent is the compact that's big on style. With its cascading chrome grill, available 17" alloy wheels and wraparound headlights and taillights, the all-new Accent looks right at home next to those valet-parking-only luxury sedans. Fog lamps and chrome accents are optional features as well as full-LED headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lamps. You can also opt for automatic headlight control, side mirrors with integrated turn signals, and a power-tilt-and-slide sunroof.

The 2020 Accent offers admirable features on the base SE trim including Bluetooth phone connectivity, a 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display, power windows, power locks, and power mirrors. The 5.0-inch touchscreen radio is standard and provides USB and auxiliary ports for connecting devices to the interface, but the 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes on SEL and Limited trims is higher tech. The larger display also boasts Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as well as a second USB port located on the back of the center console. Both systems offer Bluetooth phone connectivity, but the 7.0-inch touchscreen also comes with SiriusXM satellite radio. The optional beige interior imparts a richer feeling, with two-tone tan and black seats and a similar treatment for the dash and door panels. The Limited trim offers heated front seats as well.

Power & Performance

Under the hood of the 2020 Accent is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine making 120 horsepower and driving the front wheels through either a six-speed manual or continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The steering is nimble and responsive while the suspension provides a smooth and comfortable ride over rough roads. The Accent is the only car in its class to offer 4-wheel disc brakes for fast-acting stops. You'll save at the pump with an EPA estimated 41 mpg highway.

The 2020 Accent helps you keep an eye on everything with safety advances like available Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and a feature that shows what's behind you on the convenient Rear View Monitor up front. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the 2020 Accent a Top Safety Pick.
